forged steel cold roll
forged steel cold rolls include cold-rolled work rolls and back-up rolls. these rolls use advanced smelting equipment (electric arc furnace), refining equipment (electroslag remelting and ladle refining) and forging equipment (3150t hydraulic press) to manufacture alloys with excellent metallurgical quality for the forged steel roll blank, in terms of heat treatment, computer control technology is used to ensure that the hardness of the roll and the depth of the hardened layer on the roll body have good reproducibility. in terms of heat treatment process, sufficient preparatory heat treatment and specific induction hardening (continuous and overall), cryogenic treatment and tempering are adopted to make the roll obtain a high and uniform working layer with a hardened layer depth of more than 30mm, which is sufficient excellent wear resistance, toughness and accident resistance.
